A Memories: A short sad love story "Day by Day"

“WE BROKE UP!!! AND I WANT TO END THIS KIND OF RELATIONSHIP!!!”

A painful word come out of her mouth really make that guy shocked. He doesn’t believe the words that come out from her mouth. And he aslo doesn’t want to hear it again. It’s hurt and painful.

“Noo. You’re lying me, Han Ga In. Serious.. and i know you’re lying me..”

Ga In looks away. She not dare and bravery to look at Jae Joong face.

“I’m not lying you, Hero...”

Jae Joong still not believed what he just heard. Thus, he grasped both sides of the shoulder belong to Ga In.

“I know you’re lying me... You just make a jokes, right? Tell me this a jokes, Ga In-ah... Please tell me this a jokes..”

Both hands of Jae Joong which is touch Ga In both shoulder was pushed by Ga In.

“Once i said... I’m not lying you... We have no any relationship after this. You’ve to accept this...”

“Noo... Ga In.. Don’t leave me.. What’s wrong with you? Am i doing something wrong that make you have to be like this? Tell me what should i do to repay back my mistakes...”

“Noo.. I just...”

“Just what, Ga In-ah? Just what? Why are you being like this?”

“Huh, whatever. What i know, i just want to broke up with you. That’s all. And from now on, you’re not my lover..”

“Please Ga In. Don’t you know how much i need you, huh? It’s so hard and hurt my heart to accept all of this. No.. I will not let you go...”

No responds. Ga In just kept quite.

“Ga In-ah.. Anwser mee... please answer.. Tell me what should i doo? Arghhh. Ottokae...”

He don’t know what should he do right now. Jae Joong who is better known as Hero is looking at beautiful face belong to Ga In. He knows Ga In doesn’t mean it.

“Hmm.. If you want to pay me back, just stay away from me. Please get rid of my life. I don’t want to see you anymore...”

“I can’t do that, Ga In. It’s hard! Please Ga-In... don’t be like this.... “ Ga In hand raised by Jae Joong but she refused it. Pushed Jae Joong’s hands away.

“Goodbye, Hero...”

After saying goodbye, she runs away leaving Jae Joong who is being speechless after heard that those word.

He just watch Ga In leave him. So far... and far away. After Ga In that farther, then he thought that he should not let Ga In go just like that. If he still love Ga In, he has to grap Ga In not just by seeing she goes away.

Jae Joong paved the way for the pursuit of Ga In. But it’s too late. Ga In now is in the bus. And that bus is going to move. But Jae Joong still not give up and try to grap that bus.

“GA IN-AH!!!!! GA-IN AHHH!!!! GAJIMAA!!! GAJIMAAAA!!!! JEBAL GAJI MAL-AYO!!!!! GA IN-AH.. Arghhhh!!!!”

Jae Joong split his ankle and fell on the road. The bus still move without realise Jae Joong is chasing that bus. But Jae Joong still used his own energy to get up and grap that bus to take Ga In. But it’s too late. And Jae Joong already tired because he don’t have any kind of energy. He knelt on the road release the tiredness of chasing Ga In. He feel regret and crying. He cried and shout Ga In.

GA IN AHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

Ga In who is the only one in that buscan feel that Jae Joong is to catch the bus. She cried. And cried. Then, she looked back and see Jae Joong was knelt on the road.

“Miahne, Hero-ah... I didn’t means for what i said to you... i’ve to do that... I don’t want you getting involve in my hurt business. It will hurt you soon. And i want you to be happy but your happiness doesn’t had to me but another girl...... Miahne.. Heroo.. I’m still loving you... Miahne saranghae.....” She still crying while saying that those word. If only Jae Joong can heard that.......

Ga In sit down beside and look at his friend, L.Joe. And L.Joe looked at the beautiful lake in front of them. L.Joe was a best friend to Ga In since they was child. But they was separated when L.Joe have to move up to Callifornia. And now L.Joe is back. Even though before L.Joe live far apart,but both of them always contact each other without Jae Joong knows.

“L.Joe-ah....”

L.Joe turned to look at Ga In. “Ga In-ahh. You face.. why it looks so pale?”

“Pale? My face? It’s nothing. Just ignored it...”

“Hmm..”

“L.Joe-ah...”

“Yes, Ga In. What’s wrong?” L.Joe felt so worried when seeing the pale of Ga In’s face. Ga In also looked so weak lately.

“Hmm. Can i make a request? And i want you to fullfil my wishes.”

L.Joe felt so weird. He just smile as long as he can. “What is your wishes, dear chingu?”

Ga In hold her breathe for a while before release it. She bit her own lips before start a words.

“I want you to pretending as my boyfriend...”

L.Joe was speechless heard that wishes. Isn’t bit much?

“Mwoya?? But... why? Wae?” L.Joe aksed to be sure.

“I want you to pretending as my boyfriend. Just for a while. It’s fake. Not for the real. Jebal...” Her voice were so weak. Very weak. And her face getting more pale. L.Joe realise that.

L.Joe just silent. He’s thinking of Ga In’s wishes.

“If you thought me as your best friend, please do it. I really hope that, L.Joe... Who knows.. it will be my last request.”

“What do you means, Ga In?” L.Joe becoming more weird with Ga In’s word. But he still looked at the beautiful lake in front of them.

His question has no response from Ga In. Then, he turn back to look what Ga In doing. As soon as he looked at Ga In, he was shocked. Ga In nose is bleeding.

“Ga In-ah... Are you okay?” L.Joe touched Ga In’s cheek.

Ga In just smiled and said weakly. “It’s nothing L.Joe... I asked you for the last time... would you be my fake boyfriends?”

L.Joe panicked and just agreed with that. He’s willing to do so if it will make Ga In better. He don’t want to lost his precious Ga In. Ga In is more important to him than everyone that he knows.

“Ga In-ahh.. Ga In-ahh.. Open your eyes.. do you hear me, dear chingu? Yaa!! Ga In yaaa!”

L.Joe slowly slapped Ga In’s cheek but he had nothing. No response. Her nose still non stop bleeding yet. L.Joe becoming worried so he just lift Ga In’s body and run to his car.

Jae Joong still in anguish. He can’t accept the fact that he had nothing with Ga In. His maknae, Changmin or as known as Max looked at him. He felt so pity to his hyung. What can he do to make his hyung smile again like before?

“Hyung-ah..”

Jae Joong looked at his maknae with the sadness face.

“How long hyung.. how long you are going to be like this? You seem slipshod.. Please hyung.. don’t be like this...”

“You don’t know anything, Max... It’s hard to me to go through with all this...”

“Huh, please hyung. There’s nothing that you can do if you still being like this. just sit and not doing anything.”

“Ib dagchyeo, Max... i said you don’t know anything. You never fallen in love...”

“Hyung...”

“I don’t want to hear anything.... Just stay away from me... Jebal.. i need a time to be alone...”

Nothing that Changmin can do. He just go out of his hyung’s room. Hyuk Jae or Jae who was at the living room stare at Changmin.

“Max. What’s wrong with you?”

Changmin just sit on sofa one seater in front of Hyuk Jae. Hyuk Jae also his hyung too.

“Hyung-ah... I felt pity with Hero hyung..”

“Wae?”

“You know about Ga In noona?”

Hyuk Jae just nodded with serious face.

“I don’t know what to do... seriously, i can’t stand seeing hyung being like that. Really...”

“Hmm.. i think we have to do something. Yeah,, we have to do something.”

Changmin tipped his brow while looking at Hyuk Jae. Hyuk Jae approached Changmin and whisper something. Changmin nodded and smile. There’s something that they gonna do to make Jae Joong smile back like before.

Changmin stopped his car near to amusement park. In the car, there was Hyuk Jae. They’re waiting for Jae Joong.

“Max-ah.. Where is Hero hyung?”

Changmin shook his head because his is knowing nothing.

“Hmm.. i think i need to find Hero Jae Joong. You just wait in the car while i find our hyung.” Changmin nodded and smile.

Hyuk Jae just get out of the car and find Jae Joong. Hyuk Jae think that Jae joong, along with Hyun Joong.

Changmin waited in the car. When he was in the car, he saw something. Jyeah. It’s seem familiar with both of them who standing behind his car. He looked at the mirror. Try to identify that partner. They’re like a couples.

“Ga In noona?” Changmin knows that girl. That’s Ga In. He was very shocked. “And... who is standing beside her? What are they doing....? Err... Is she cheating with Hero hyung and is that the reason why she doesn’t want to continue their relationship..? Arghh... seriously...”

They were seen holdings hand each other. That guy flicked Ga In’s hair and touch Ga In’s face. Changmin felt like something. Ga In looked very sad. It showed by her face. Slowly, she removed the ring form her finger and give it to that guy. They looked like talked about something.

At that time, Jae Joong appeared with Hyuk Jae and Hyun Joong. He still be able to watch the scene of removal of ring. That ring. That ring that was given by himself to Ga In for blessing their relationship. Is that ring so disgusting? Jae joong felt very hurt inside. Ga In noticed Jae Joong was there. So, she just left early and act like she don’t know that Jae Joong is there. L.Joe was left behind.

And Jae Joong, without think anything... he just go and attacked L.Joe from the back. He touched L.Joe’s shoulder.

“Yahhhh!! What’s your relationship between you and Ga In?”

L.Joe was shocked but he still can control it. “So, you’re Hero that Ga In told me?”

“So what if i am Hero? What is your relationship, huh?” Jae Joong asked like a rude boy.

L.joe just smile but cynical. “I am her boyfriend.”

“MWOYA??! No. I’m her boyfriend.”

“Are you crazy??! Are you a deaf? Pity on you... Ga In does not love you at all.... Just stay away from her. You just like disturber!” L.Joe said and walked away but Jae Joong stopped L.Joe and punch L.Joe’s face.

L.joe felt very angry and punch Jae Joong back. His lips is bleeding. L.joe just smiled. He refrain the attacked from Jae Joong. And he kicked Jae Joong back.

At that time, Changmin, Hyuk Jae and Hyun Joong back up Jae Joong. They safe Jae Joong and brings Jae Joong to their car and L.Joe just left.

“Hyungg... what are you doingg?? You almost killed yourself.. please hyung. Don’t do that again. I know you still loving Ga In noona. But you can’t punch that guy.”

“Shut up!!”

Ga In is meditated. She still think of Jae Joong. Seriously, she madly miss him. But what can she do. She only can stare Jae Joong from a far. Nothing can she do. She make a decision to leave Jae Joong because she don’t want him to be sad. She felt very lonely and need someone to talked about. So, she did called L.Joe.

“Yeoboseyo?”

“Ne, Ga In-ah. Museun il-iya?”

“Are you free now?”

“Hmm.. Yes, i’m. I don’t have anything to do now.. Wae?”

“It’s nothing. I just want to borrow you.”

“Borrow me??”

“Ne.. i just want to talked about. I feel very boring right now. Nothing to do..”

“Hmm. Arasseo. Just wait there. I’ll picked you up at your apartment.”

“Hmm. Annyeong..”

“Annyeong...”

Ga In turn off the called and make a step to her closet. She’s opening that closet and take a long t-shirt to wear. Also a long skinny jeans. She put it on her body and then she looked at her face. Yeah, it totally looked so pale... Hmmm... Her heart whisper.

Jae Joong was about to go out of his house. He want to clear up his mind. At the same time, he wanted to hear again an explaination from Ga In’s mouth. He still can’t believe that Ga In will leave him just like that. Without any arguing. It happened full of sudden and totally make Jae Joong shocked.

Jae Joong look at his finger. That finger that wearing a ring couple. Slowly, his eyes shed a tears.

“Hyung..”

Jae Joong shocked. He wiped his tears to avoid his maknae see that he was crying.

“Hyung-ah..”

“Ne... What’s up?”

“Where are you going??”

“Ermm.. i just want to go out. Release my stress.”

“Hyung... i know you wanted to see Ga In noona, right?”

Jae Joong was silent. Unspeakable.

“If that so, let me follow you...”

“Mw..mwoya?”

“I want to follow you. Not only me but the others hyung also..”

Jae Joong just nodded weakly.

All of them were all in the car. Changmin take part to drive the car. The atomospehere in the car to be quite untill they reach to apartment that Ga In leave. Changmin stop the car when get the car park. But there was something happened. Something bad that make Jae Joong angry and his heart hurt.

“That’s Ga In noona with that guy....” Hyuk Jae looked at Jae Joong face.

His face looked so angry and his eyes becoming red. Jae Joong get out from the car and attacked the car owned to L.Joe.

Ga In noticed that Jae Joong was here. She was crying at that time but she wiped her tears.

“L.Joe! Look at me. Act like we’re sweet couple.”

“Uh.. Arasseo...” L.Joe just do his job. He touched Ga In faced.

Jae joong who was there felt like crazy. Ga In-ah.... you’re too much.. you don’t know how much i loved you........ you hurt me.. hurt my heart... He whisper in his heart.

“Yahh!!! Get out noww!!” Jae Joong shout it loudly.

L.Joe looked at Ga In.

“Kiss me L.Joe.. jebal.. kiss me...”

“Are you serious?”

“Its only fake, chingu-ah.. jebal.. i need to prove to him that he doesn’t mean to me anymore.

L.Joe nodded and act like they kiss in real whereas it just an action. FAKE!

Jae Joong was shocked saw that kiss scene between L.Joe and Ga In.

“Ga In-ahh. You’re too much. How dare you do something like that..... Uhh... Ga In-ah!!!” Jae Joong go near to the car and open the car door. He pulled Ga In’s hand to get her out of the car. L.Joe and Ga In was shocked.

“Ga In-ahhh! Why are you being like this??!”

“Let go of my hands, Hero! It’s hurt!”

“No! I will not let go of your hands until you tell the truth..”

“There’s nothing to talked about. Also we have nothing to be relate, right!”

L.Joe who see that kind of action, goes out from the car.

“Hey, Hero. Let go of her hands.”

“Huh, it’s up to me.”

L.Joe feel so pity on Ga In when look at her face. L.Joe go near to GD and snapping Jae Joong’s hands from hold hard Ga In’s hands. Ga In brought in to his arms. Ga In just let L.Joe do like that.

“Please don’t hurt her anymore. And please don’t disturb her...”

“Mwoya??! Huhhh.. Ga In-ahh... This is my last word to you.. Are you still loving me or not??”

Ga In does not give any answer. She just kept silent in L.Joe’s arm. Jae Joong sighed weakly.

“You totally leave me Ga In.... now i know... you’re not loving me.. with your action just make my heart knows that.... Thanks for all this.. thanks for everything that given by you before. The happiness that we make together... From now on, i will never see you... never disturb you.. and try to forget you even it so hard... And i thought that you never appear in my life. Goodbye Ga In...”

Jae Joong walked away left Ga In behind. He just walked without any attention and destination. Changmin and the others who was in the car just let Jae Joong go. They all knows Jae Joong need some times to be alone.

Ga In hand hold by L.Joe. L.Joe brings Ga In back to her apartment.

“Do you need me to accompany you?”

Ga In shook her head.

“Neaga arasseo... Take care Ga In-ah.. if there any problem, just press 1 to contact my number..”

“Ara...”

“Hmm. Annyeong..” L.Joe left Ga In.

After L.Joe left, the tear was defained since before, finally flowing out. She crying loudly. The words that coming out from Jae Joong mouth hurt her heart.

“Hero-ah.... i didn’t mean to do something like this to you.... it happened suddenly. I have to stop our relationship... it’s better if i the only one who hurt... i’m willing cry lonely from seeing your sad face and your tears.. your tears must hurt me a lot... Miahne... miahne.... Hero-ah..... I’m still loving you... Yeah... i’m still loving you...”

One by one the memories has been created by Ga In and Jae Joong plays in front of Ga In’s eyes. It must be a very hard moment. It’s not easy to g through with all this lonely.

Ga In leaning against the wall. She must be tired. Even she was tired, her eyes still flowing a tears. Slowly, Ga In holding her hair. Her hair was falling. She’s crying went looked at her hair that has been falling. This is the reason why i have to leave you..... She said while crying.

“Hero-ah......” She shout Jae Joong’s name and crying.

He just walked without any direction to go. Jae joong is walking in the crowded area. His mind is empty. Really empty. He is not thinking anything. He was about going to die. He doesn’t care anything and just walked away. He just bumping into people who block his way.

After that, he back home. At the midnight. He make everyone worried about him.

“Hyung.. where did you go?”

Jae Joong pushed Hyuk Jae away who has block his way. He just step to his room and enter his room. He strongly pushed the door and locked the door. Hyuk Jae speechless. But he just let it be because he know Jae Joong condition.

“Hmm.. I need to go out. Both of you also. We’ve to give him a private times...”

“But, hyung...”

“Don’t make any excuse...”

“Arraseo...”

Hyuk Jae pulled Changmin to go with him out of the apartment.

In his room, Jae Joong crying. “Whyyy!!!! Ga In-ahh..... you’re really cruel. You hurt my heart. You know i cry because you’re my all... you’re my love.... you’re my heart.. jebal...... Ga In-ah..... you know it was hard to me to forget you....”

Jae Joong felt very angry so he take it all away the things in front of him and throw it out.

Pranggg!!!! The mirror is broken because the chair struck it.

His room was in good organized before becoming uncluttered.

Arghhh!!! SHITTT!!! I HATE YOU, GA IN-AHHHH!!!!!!

He shout loudly. He sat on the sofa one-seater. He touched his head. The other hand touched his chest. Why it felt so hurt? Why!!!

After that, Jae joong stands up and steps to the bathroom. He wet himself with the shower that flowing out from above. Then, Jae Joong looked in front of him. There is a mirror. That mirror which is showing himself. He touched the mirror. It felt like he touched his owned face. But it just only a shadow of himself. Suddenly, Ga In appear.

“Ga In-ah.. Oh no!!! Arghhhhhhh!!!!!!!” When the shadow of Ga In dissapear.. he punched the mirror hardly. Then the mirror is broken down. His hands was bleeding. He just let it be. He is crying. How painful he is.

After a few months, Jae Joong are not seeing Ga In anymore. He did like what he said to Ga In before. But his life being so messed. Ga In felt so sad. She luckly had L.Joe beside her. Ga In condition becoming worse and she need to make an operation quickly.

“Hmm. you’re in warded.”

“Yeahh. L.Joe-ah..

“Hmm?”

“This time, Hero still not coming and try to searched me?”

L.Joe slowly shook his head. It must be hurt both of them, Ga In and Jae Joong.

“Hmm... Just sleep Ga In-ah. You must very tired...” L.Joe correct Ga In’s beanie hat. Beanie hat is the accessory to cover Ga In head. Her head has no hair anymore.. it just a little left. It is because of her chemotraphy. The things that can make her diseases, brain cancer slowly separate.

“Yeah.. but i’m not tired at all..”

“Ga In-ahh... you’ve to rest.. this day you have to make an operation also...”

“no... i don’t want to sleep but i want to see your face... Hmm.. Where is HyukJae, Changmin and Hyun Joong? Where are they?”

Ga In is asking for her maknae. Three of them really nice to her even her relationship between their hyung already broken out. L.Joe informed them about her is being warded for a week ago. So, they’re coming but still not come in.

“They are at the outside. They really wanted to see you..”

“Really? Me also.. hmm.. call them in..”

L.Joe nodded and called three of them.

“Noonaa....” Changmin run to Ga In and hug her tightly.

“Hmm... i really miss you, dongsaeng...”

Changmin nodded while in Ga In’s arm.

HyukJae just stands in front of the door. he feel so sad and feel guilty. And he did think he really know why Ga In make a decision to broke off with his hyung, Jae Joong. While Hyun Joong just sit stands beside L.Joe.

“Miahne... Noona really miss all of you..” She stared the face in the ward one by one. Of course, she will miss that face. L.Joe is the best friend ever she had. Changmin, Hyuk Jae and Hyun Joong. All of them had some memories in Ga In diary of her life.

Ga In still looked happy and cheerful girl like before. Even though she had go throught a hard moment by herself after this.

“L.Joe.....”

“Hmm?”

Ga In removal the ring couples. Actually, when she was doing that before just wanted Jae Joong to saw that. That’s the way to make Jae Joong believe. Jae Joong knows Ga In loves that ring so much. So, she make an action removal the rings and give it to L.Joe. L.Joe just hold it for a while. After Jae Joong said that he will not see Ga In anymore, L.Joe give it back to Ga In and Ga In wear it like before. The day she being together with Jae Joong before. When she wear the rings, she feel like Jae Joong stay by her side.

Day by day, she go throught all this alone. Her world fill with empty. Nothing she do. Only waiting the death come to take her. Everyone don’t know about what she felt. Only L.Joe. L.Joe took care of her. Everything.

“Hmm.. take this ring and give to Jae Joong while i do a surgery...”

“Uh?”

“Tell him that i loved him so much... sorry for doing this to him... say this word if i die... if i’m not living anymore..”

“Noonaa! Why are you saying like that... jeba.. don’t say that kind of word..”

Ga In smiled. “Hehehehe. Don’t worry, Max. Nothing happened. I need you to pray for me... all of you...”

“Noonaa.....” Max hug Ga In again. Ga In’s tears flowing out...

L.Joe wiped his tears which is going to flow out. He covered so, the others will not noticed that he cried.

HyukJae who is just standing in fron of the door felt so guilty. He need to tell Jae Joong. He don’t want Jae Joong feel regret because in this surgery.. it take high risk. Maybe Ga In will die will doing a surgery. Better he make a called now because Ga In is about to go to surgery’s room.

“Noonaa.. i’ve to go for awhile. I’ll comeback here as soon as possible.”

Ga In just nodded.

While he think it was far a way from the ward, he make a called.

HyukJae need to wait for awhile because Jae Joong doesn’t pick up his calling. After four times he try out, at last Jae Joong pick up his call.

“Yeoboseyo?”

“Ne.. Hyung...”

“Huh.. what’s up? And where are you going?”

“Hmm. We’re in the hospital..”

“MWOYA??!!! Wae?? Who is sick? Max? Joong?”

“Noo...”

“Then who??”

“Noonaa...”

“Did you mean Ga In has been hospitalized?

“Ne, hyung.. please come faster. Palli hyungg! Noona is going to make a surgery... Her suffered with her

own disease. Brain cancer, hyung.... Jebal hyung.. She really want to see you.... ”

“B..b..brai..n C..ancer...... Wae? Wae-yo? Why she didn’t told me about this... Ga In-ah.....”

Jae Joong’s tears slowly flowing out. He felt regret. Jae Joong turn off the phone. His heart feel so hurt now. Very hurt than before.

“Hyung-ah? Hyung-ah..

The calling has been end up. Jae Joong does not think anything accept Ga In. Then, he run to the hospital. It such a long way to run. But what can he do. He does not have any time anymore. All of he can do is run. Run to get Ga In. Why Ga In do not tell me about thiss. Arghh! Ga In-ah.. please wait for me... please stands with all of this.. i know you;re strong... Jebal.... Jae Joong whisper in his heart while he is running away to hospital.

It’s takes thirty minutes to arrived there....

Jae Joong run to get Ga In. But when he had arrived, he meet with L.Joe who was about to going somewhere and both of them against walk. When they’re very close, Jae Joong have nothing to say so he just walk straight a way but L.Joe grab his hand. Jae Joong turn to L.Joe.

“Hmm. Miahne for everything.”

Jae Joong blurr.

“Sorry for lying you before. Ga Inn.. really loves you. So much...” L.Joe put the ring on the Jae Joongs hand.

Jae Joong shocked. L.Joe just go and left Jae Joong. Then he run to get Ga In but it’s already late. Ga In is in the surgery’s room now. HyukJae, Hyun Joong and Changmin looked at Jae Joong. Jae Joong felt like want to cry.

“Ga In-ah...” Jae Joong looked at the door of the surgery’s room.

“Be patient, hyung...”

“But.. Ga In... Ga In is in there. I want to go there...” Jae Joong was about to broke the door but HyukJae hold him tightly.

“Please hyung.. just pray her safe... Jebal...”

His tear flowing out crazily. “I wanted to see Ga In-ah... Jeball... I was wrong.. i thought she really hate me... and really want to leave mee.... Ga In-ahh........”

“Hyungg.. don’t do that hyung. She still do a surgery.” HyukJae also cry when see his hyung becoming like this. it was so hurt and hard. One by one memories between Ga In and Jae Joong plays in Jae Joong’s mind. He leading against the world and sat on the floor. The other felt so sad too.

Ga In felt so afraid when she was in the surgery’s room. But she have to be strong to go all of this. when the light is opened, she slowly remind about her memories with Jae Joong. Memory that Jae Joong was giving her a ring couple. It’s look so sweet and beautiful. After that, she had play around and joke around with Jae Joong. It was so happy at that time. If can, she want to be back at that time. And she want the time just stop there and doesn’t move at all. That’s all she want.

When the doctor was doing a surgery, she half-wake. She just stare at the cyling. When the surgery was about to finished, she can felt that times had comes.
